The SiC Application Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of various water treatment processes using silicon carbide (SiC) ultrafiltration membranes. This role involves conducting pilot testing, designing water and wastewater treatment plants, overseeing plant commissioning, and ensuring the successful operation of water treatment systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical or environmental engineering, with experience in water treatment technologies. The successful candidate for this role will have the opportunity to have a significant impact in solving today's most pressing water issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Process Design: Develop and optimize water treatment processes to meet client specifications and regulatory requirements. Create detailed process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
- Pilot Testing: Plan, execute, and analyze pilot tests to validate process designs. Collect and interpret data to refine treatment processes and ensure scalability.
- Plant Commissioning: Assist with the commissioning of water & wastewater treatment plants focusing on process and performance testing. Ensure all systems operate efficiently and meet design & performance criteria.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
- Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Passion for implementing new technology.
- Experience in water & wastewater treatment process design, pilot testing, and plant commissioning preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of water treatment technologies, including membrane filtration, disinfection, and chemical treatment a plus.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and CAD tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
