As a Product Manager with the PFAS Solutions team, you will be responsible for leading the process development and design of Foam Fractionation systems in collaboration with other team members around the globe.
The role is based in our Salt Lake City or Austin, TX Office and will enjoy our hybrid working model.
Expected domestic travel is 20-35%.
What is the role?
- Manage key process-related technical aspects within a multi-disciplinary team for the development and commercialization of effective and safe solutions for the treatment of per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances PFAS.
- Desire to work in a fast paced and innovative environment to new solutions for PFAS contamination in water.
- Develop and direct laboratory and field demonstration of foam fractionation processes and products.
- Establish appropriate design methods, sizing, and costing programs OPEX and CAPEX foam fractionation systems.
- Check calculations, models, layouts, detailed drawings, specifications, and instructions prepared by drafters/designers and other engineers.
- Ability to read and understand fabrication, erection, and standard engineering drawings.
- Direct the execution of design project and provide technical support to shop and field start-up services, both on site and from the office.
- Write technical paper and reports and present findings at local and national conferences.
- Assists in marketing business opportunities with key clients and development of responses to RFP/RFQs.
Does this sound like you?
- Bachelor's or Master's M.S. degree preferred degree in Civil and Environmental, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or Process Engineering from an accredited university.
- 2-5+ years of process engineering-related experience in water/wastewater/waste/landfill leachate industry in North America.
- Experience with PFAS, waste industry, or leachate is preferred.
- Specific experience troubleshooting and/or operating pilot equipment systems.
- Professional Engineering Registration preferred CPEng, RPEQ, or equivalent.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical equations to complex situations.
