Established in 1970, ALAR Water Treatment is an essential business that designs and builds water pollution control equipment for commercial production and manufacturing industries. ALAR continues to grow through its expanding worldwide distribution of chemical and mechanical industrial wastewater systems. We are a 2nd generation, family-operated company, located in Mokena, IL, with in-house sales, engineering, production, chemical, parts, and service departments.

Ovivo, Alar is looking for an Assembler / Pipefitter to join our team in Mokena, IL.

The Assembler / Pipefitter requires a mechanically inclined, reliable individual with experience in a shop environment. Alar has experienced personnel who will work to provide any requisite training.

You will use your expertise to:

• Cut, bend, thread, and install pipe
• Mount pumps and mechanical equipment
• Align motors, gearboxes, and assemblies
• Cut, drill, and finish components per detail drawings
• Use of mill, drill press and lathe to finish parts prior to assembly
• Mount sub-assemblies and components per detail drawings

We would like to review your application if you have the following Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of assembly/pipefitting preferred
• Understanding of detailed drawings and measurements
• Frequent use of Hand/Power/Air tools
• Welding experience
• Frequent lifting of 15-30lbs, occasional lifting of 50lbs

Where you will be working, your work schedule, and other important information:

• You will work out of our Mokena, IL location, and report to the Shop Manager.
• Work hours are 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
• Holiday, Vacation, and Personal Time are allotted.
