What is the Opportunity?

At Ovivo, we offer you the opportunity to expand your skills and manufacturing experience while collaborating with worldwide experts in water treatment. As a Fitter / Welder you will complete weldments on stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum, proficiently using FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW. This position requires a highly skilled and heavily experienced background in Fitter / Fitting with pipe and structural steel profiles.

The role is based at our shop located in Round Rock, Texas. Work hours are Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm and you must be willing to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.


What is the role?

  • Supervise daily operations in a manufacturing or production environment, ensuring efficiency and adherence to established processes.

  • Oversee fabrication, assembly, and production workflows to maintain quality standards and optimize productivity.

  • Enforce safety compliance by monitoring workplace conditions, conducting inspections, and ensuring employees follow safety regulations.

  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments to coordinate production activities and resolve issues.

  • Identify and resolve problems quickly to minimize downtime and maintain smooth production operations.

  • Maintain organization and attention to detail in managing schedules, inventory, and workflow documentation.

  • Motivate and mentor a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production methods.

  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach.

  • Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs., as required by operational needs.

  • Work on your feet for extended periods, including standing, walking, and bending, within a dynamic shop environment.

  • Operate safely around machinery, tools, and chemicals, ensuring a secure workplace for all team members

  • Other duties as assigned

Does this sound like you?

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication, assembly, and production processes.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/shop/warehouse environment required.
  • Familiar working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety compliance effectively (OSHA and ISO)
  • Must be honest, self-motivated, and hard working. Must have basic computer skills and competency.
  • A proactive approach to improving processes and driving efficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.
