SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining all required inventory records, shipping lists and freight documents for the shipping of goods to sub-contractors and job sites, and the receiving of materials from vendors. Completes assigned activities under the direction of the Production Manager.

HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Direct shipment receiving, shipping, purchase order, item transfer and product structure transactions where assigned.
- Maintain all required documents for invoicing purposes.
- Operate forklift and pallet jack.
- Compare vendor shipping papers to purchase orders to confirm correct materials are received, forward delivery tickets and invoicing to accounts group.
- Arrange for cost effective transportation of materials via commercial carriers.
- Maintain document storage for the purchasing department retention process; Purchase Orders, Packing lists, Supplier files, Non-conformance history.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned as required.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS WILL INCLUDE:
- Knowledge of Inventory control systems.
- Ability to work with bills of material and product structures, job orders, warehouse pick lists and shipping documents preferred.
- Ability to resolve complaints and respond to sensitive inquiries effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL POSSESS:
- Minimum High School Education or GED.
- Inventory Control experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- US American Production and Inventory Control Society APICS training desirable.
WILL I NEED TO TRAVEL:
- No travel is required.
