We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our Varec Biogas team in Stafford.

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, completing appropriate shipping and receiving documentation, as well as assisting the department manager with inventory control
You will use your expertise to:
- Applies standard operating procedures of the Shipping and Receiving Dept.
- Load and unload semi-trucks in a safe and timely manner
- Responsible for daily safety and maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and high level of accuracy.
- Post receipts and issue job transactions plus create, attached, control material marking as required for items in the consolidation warehouse location.
- Other tasks as assigned to for a successful Customer Orders taken into sales.
- Responsible for all UPS shipments and receiving
We would like to review your application if you have the following Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED, plus two years directly related experience in in an industrial trade, manufacturing or related field.
- Ability to understand, read, write and converse in English
- Able to follow directions and make decisions based on specific directions and outlines.
- Able to use basic judgment in the performance of job duties with supervisor support.
- Computer skills: Basic understanding of Word and Excel.
- Ability to understand and apply basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Must be able to operate a forklift and manual lift truck
- Knowledge of loading, unloading and stocking and associated equipment.
- Knowledge in daily maintenance of hydraulic and diesel equipment.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and must be able to supply own set of mechanics tools.
- Ability to read and interpret parts lists and blueprints.
- Ability to actively engage in directing material movement, logistics, at best practice for time and low cost.
Where you will be working, your work schedule, and other important information:
- You will report to the Plant Manager in our Stafford, TX warehouse.
- The base hours of work are a regular 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on the business needs.
